The car now has enough safety equipement for a 9.0 ET and 150 mph
limit under IHRA rules.
The 150 mph limit is because I don't have or need a parachute yet
Things to do
Install forward cage tubes through firewall (maybe)
Reposition seat so it's tilted back slightly
Fabricate a removable transmission tunnel
Stuff the car needs to go faster
At 150 mph, the car would need a parachute but I can't see
that happening for a long time although a mount has been fabricated when the 4-link and back half was done.
At 9.99 the car needs an NHRA chassis certification and competition license to run at an NHRA track There's only one NHRA track within the region so I doubt it will affect me.
At 8.99 the car needs an IHRA chassis certification and competition license to run at an IHRA track. Even going to the other regional IHRA track which is at a lower altitude, I'll still be slower than this.
